Had my Daughters 21st Cake and cupcakes made by Darwen Deli, was very disappointed, The cupcakes where very dry and dense, so had to go to Asda and buy cakes to cut on the night (which are still fresh today) Cut into her main Birthday cake and was so disappointed as that was the same, We have tried to communicate with Darwen Deli about the problem, and even taken the cake back into the shop for them to see for themselves, where we found them to be very rude and argumentative, especially the older blonde lady who just wanted to shout, we never expected our money back just wanted to show them what the problem was, I for one will never recommend or use them again, So upset as it was my Daughters 21st cake. I also left a review on the facebook page which has been removed and I've been blocked
So so happy with this place, the ladies are so attentive, and help me design a cake for my husband, when I had no idea what todo.Totally made the evening and my husbands birthday!!An absolute must for special events.The cake was out of this world, and a lot cheaper than others places in the area, that wanted to charge me almost double for a basic cake out of a book.
